Spice things up this holiday season with a warm cocktail. This recipe for mulled wine is heated and spiced with red wine, fruit, brandy and sugar. Warm and flavorful, this delicious cocktail is perfect for your holiday gathering or a cold winter night. Get grilling and grab a mug of mulled wine!

Grilled Mulled Wine with Brandy & Cinnamon Sticks
•1 bottle red wine
•1/4 cup brandy
•6 whole cloves
•2 cinnamon sticks
•2 whole star anise
•3 tablespoons sugar
•Cut oranges into 1/4 inch thick halves
•Fill grill with Cowboy Hardwood Lump Charcoal and light
•Once the coals have ashed over, place orange halves directly on grill grates and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side or until grill marks appear
•Remove orange slices from grill and set aside
•In a medium sauce pan, combine red wine, sugar, cloves, cinnamon and star anise
•Place saucepan over low heat, stirring to dissolve sugar
•Once orange halves are cool enough to handle, squeeze the juice from half of the orange slices into mixture, setting aside remaining slices for use as garnishes
•Add brandy to mixture and continue to let simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally
•Pour contents into mug and garnish with an orange slice
•Serve warm and enjoy!
